Analisis Pemanfaatan Media Video Animasi Dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Peserta Didik Pada Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak Materi Alam Barzakh

Abstract

The use of audiovisual media nowadays has become one of the common learning alternatives implemented in schools. This media has a main advantage, which is its ability to turn learning methods that tend to be monotonous into more interactive learning experiences. This study is motivated by the problem of students' low understanding of the Barzakh Nature material in the Akidah Akhlak subject. The characteristics of this material are considered too abstract, making it difficult for students at the concrete operational stage to visualize it. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the contribution of using teaching media in the form of YouTube-based animated videos to improve students' conceptual understanding, observe the process of its application, and map supporting and inhibiting factors. The approach used in this study employs a literature review method. The data collection process was carried out through searching, filtering, and reviewing scientific articles as well as relevant books in the Google Scholar database. The findings from this literature review show that integrating animated video media has great conceptual potential in helping students understand the abstract subject of the Afterlife, making it easier for them to internalize. Although there are still some shortcomings, its successful implementation is still supported by the availability of diverse YouTube content. The implication of this study highlights the importance of developing audiovisual media as an innovative solution for teachers to improve the quality of learning in metaphysical religious topics.
