Publication Ethics
The publication ethics of Karsa Bhakti Journal are guided by the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) as a reference to ensure integrity, honesty, and professionalism throughout the publishing process. The ethical standards that must be upheld by all parties involved — including authors, editors, and reviewers — are described as follows:
1. Authors
Authors must uphold scientific integrity and fully understand the benefits and potential risks associated with their published work. Every outcome of community service activities presented in the manuscript must be written honestly, without fabrication, falsification, or data concealment.
Authors are required to comply with the writing guidelines established by Karsa Bhakti Journal and ensure that their submitted manuscripts align with the journal’s aims and scope. The names of authors listed in the manuscript must accurately reflect significant contributions to the development of the scholarly work. Authors must avoid any form of conflict of interest with any party.
If, after submission, the authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their work, they are obliged to immediately notify the editor and cooperate in the process of correction or article withdrawal.
Authors are strictly prohibited from submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal or republishing any part of the article in another publication. Submission to another journal is only permitted once a rejection decision has been officially issued by Karsa Bhakti Journal.
2. Editors
Editors are responsible for selecting, reviewing, and making final decisions regarding the eligibility of manuscripts for publication based on reviewer evaluations and editorial policies.
In carrying out their duties, editors must act fairly, objectively, and professionally, without discrimination against the authors’ background or affiliation. Editors must ensure that every manuscript received is original and free from plagiarism.
Reviewers are selected carefully, considering their expertise and relevance to the manuscript’s subject matter. Editors are also required to maintain the confidentiality of all information contained in submitted manuscripts and must not use any part of the unpublished work for personal advantage.
3. Reviewers
Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the scientific quality of the publication by providing objective, honest, and constructive evaluations of assigned manuscripts.
All information contained in the manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential and may not be shared or used for purposes other than the peer-review process.
Reviewers must ensure that authors have properly cited and acknowledged all relevant data sources in their work. The assessment must be based on clear scientific reasoning and delivered in an argumentative and constructive manner, with the aim of helping authors improve and refine their manuscripts.
In addition, reviewers are expected to provide feedback within the timeframe set by the Karsa Bhakti Journal editorial team.
