Beji Village in Kedewan District, Bojonegoro Regency, holds a set of tourism assets that had never been managed as a single destination system: Tritis Cave, Remek Cave, the Bulu Beji geological formation, smallholder coffee and avocado plantations, and home-based micro enterprises producing rengginang and local coffee. These assets stood in isolation, without a mapped route, direction signage, an active tourism awareness group, or product packaging able to compete in the market. This community service programme aimed to initiate an integrated village tourism area by connecting those assets through a single trekking route branded Beji’s Fun Tracking. The programme was implemented from 29 July to 25 August 2026 using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach across five stages discovery, dream, design, delivery, and destiny involving the village government, the tourism awareness group (30 participants), micro enterprise operators (12 participants), the farmers group, youth organisations, and the district tourism office. Change was measured through a pre-post comprehension test, an indicator checklist verified in the field, observation, focus group discussion, and participant feedback. Beyond producing an eight-point route of roughly 3–4 km, three direction signs, an area map with four tourism package concepts, modern standing-pouch packaging for two flagship products, and a 2026–2031 development roadmap, the programme delivered measurable change for the community partners: the tourism awareness group’s comprehension of its role and inter-institutional partnership rose from 46 per cent to 88 per cent (a 42-point gain) and the group established four working divisions where none existed before, while the selling price of the two flagship products increased by 60–88 per cent after the packaging transition. The roadmap became the instrument that transfers the initiative from the student team to local institutions.
