Focus and Scope

Journal of Educational Research and Practice( JERP) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes high-quality research articles, reviews, and conceptual papers in the field of education. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange innovative ideas and empirical findings that advance theory and practice in education.

The journal welcomes interdisciplinary studies that integrate pedagogy, curriculum development, educational technology, assessment, teacher education, and learning innovations across various educational contexts. Journal of Educational Research and Practice promotes the dissemination of evidence-based research that supports quality education, equity, and lifelong learning.

Peer Review Process

The suitability of manuscripts for publication in JERP is judged by peer reviewers and the editorial board. All review processes are conducted using a double-blind system. The Editor in Chief handles all correspondence with the author and makes the final decision as to whether the paper is accepted, rejected, or requires revision. Manuscripts are evaluated by two qualified peer reviewers within three weeks, and the final decision rests with the Editor in Chief.

Publication Frequency

Karsa Bhakti : Journal of Community Service publishes two issues per year, June and December and accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Karsa Bhakti : Journal of Community Service publishes original research and writings to international audiences of researchers, educators, and community service practitioners.

Archiving

JERP allows authors to deposit versions of their work in an institutional repository of their choice. 

Publication Ethics

JERP is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editors. Unethical behavior such as plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification is strictly prohibited. The journal follows the ICMJE authorship criteria and ensures transparency, accountability, and ethical compliance for all parties involved—authors, reviewers, and editors.

Journal Scientific Statement

Articles published in JERP are scientifically validated and adhere to ethical standards of scientific publication—ensuring neutrality, justice, and honesty. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind review and revision process to maintain publication quality.

Retraction

Articles may be retracted if evidence shows unreliable findings, plagiarism, redundant publication, unethical research, or legal issues. Retractions follow the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Screening for Plagiarism Policy

JERP uses Turnitin software to screen all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism to ensure authenticity and originality.

Indexing

The journal is indexed in: ISSN , Google Scholar, Crossref, Garuda, and SINTA .
