Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to SAMARA INSANI: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Law and Family Studies must conform to the journal’s focus and scope as well as the author guidelines. Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate scientific merit and originality (novelty) that are relevant to the field of early childhood education.

All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to conduct a similarity check using plagiarism detection software prior to submission. The editorial team will screen all submitted manuscripts using Turnitin to ensure the originality and integrity of the scholarly work.

The suitability of manuscripts for publication in SAHABAT: Journal of Early Childhood Education is evaluated by peer reviewers and the editorial board. All review processes are conducted using a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity, independence, and fairness in the evaluation process.

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter of the manuscript. The review process is generally completed within approximately three weeks. Reviewers provide constructive comments, suggestions, and recommendations aimed at improving the quality of the manuscript’s content, methodology, and scholarly contribution.

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for all correspondence with authors throughout the editorial process. Based on the reviewers’ evaluations and recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding the manuscript, which may be accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected.

The publication of accepted articles, including the order in which they are published, is determined by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into consideration the final acceptance date, the geographical distribution of authors, and the thematic relevance of the articles to each journal issue.
