SAMARA INSANI: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Law and Family Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that provides a scholarly platform for the development and dissemination of research in the fields of Islamic law and Islamic family law (ahwal al-syakhshiyyah) within Indonesian and global contexts. The journal aims to promote critical, analytical, and interdisciplinary studies that explore legal principles derived from Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) while engaging with contemporary legal, social, and cultural developments.

Published biannually in April and October, the journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and normative–empirical legal studies from academics, researchers, legal practitioners, and policy analysts. The journal seeks to contribute to the advancement of Islamic legal studies by bridging classical Islamic jurisprudence with contemporary legal systems, judicial practices, and societal transformations, particularly in matters related to family law.

Through rigorous peer-review and academic discussion, Indonesian Journal of Islamic Law and Family Studies aims to become an important forum for scholarly dialogue and the development of just, responsive, and contextually relevant Islamic legal thought in both national and international perspectives.
