Author Guideline
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Journal of Educational and Practice
The Journal of Educational and Practice publishes scientific articles in the field of education, learning innovation, curriculum studies, teaching practice, and educational management. Authors are invited to submit original, high-quality manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere. Please follow the guidelines below for successful submission and publication.
1. General Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be written in English, using clear, concise, and academic language.
- Submissions must be original works that have not been published or are under consideration in other journals.
- Manuscripts should be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS) of the Journal of Educational and Practice.
- Each submission will undergo a double-blind peer review
- The editorial board reserves the right to edit and format the manuscript without changing its substance.
- Authors must follow the Publication Ethics stated by the journal.
2. Manuscript Format
- Manuscripts are written in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
- Use A4 paper size (21 x 29.7 cm) with 5 cm margins on all sides.
- Font: Cambria, 12 pt, 1.15 line spacing, justified alignment.
- The manuscript length should be 4,000–7,000 words including references, tables, and figures.
- All tables and figures must be numbered consecutively, titled, and placed near the relevant text.
3. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should follow this structure:
a. Title
- Written in Title Case, concise (maximum 15 words), and reflecting the core topic of the paper.
- Use Cambria, 16 pt, bold, centered.
b. Author(s) and Affiliation
- Include full name(s) of author(s) without academic titles.
- Write institutional affiliation(s), city, and country.
- Include a corresponding author’s email address.
c. Abstract
- Written in English, 150–250 words.
- Includes background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Use Cambria, 12 pt, single spacing.
d. Keywords
- 3 to 5 words or phrases separated by semicolons (;).
e. Introduction
- Describe the research background, literature review, research gap, Novelty and Purpose Reseacrh
- Clearly state the novelty and significance of the study.
f. Method
- Explain the research design, participants, instruments, data collection, and analysis procedures.
- Provide sufficient detail for replication.
g. Results and Discussion
- Present research findings clearly and systematically.
- Include relevant tables, figures, or charts.
- Discuss how results align or contrast with previous studies.
h. Conclusion
- Summarize the main findings, implications, and recommendations.
- Avoid repeating data or detailed analysis.
- Express gratitude to individuals or organizations that supported the research.
j. References
- Only include relevant and recent sources (preferably within the last 10 years).
- Use APA Style (7th edition) for in-text citations and reference list.
Example:
- Brown, P., & Green, T. D. (2020). The essentials of instructional design. Routledge.
- Johnson, R. B. (2018). Mixed methods research in education. Educational Researcher, 47(4), 255–266.
4. Citation and Reference Style
- Use APA 7th edition
- It is recommended to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
- Ensure all cited references appear in the reference list and vice versa.
5. Review Process
- Every submitted manuscript is first screened for plagiarism.
- Manuscripts passing the initial screening will undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.
- The editorial decision will be one of the following:
- Accepted without revision
- Accepted with minor or major revisions
- Rejected
- The decision of the editorial board is final and binding.
6. Publication Fees
- Journal of Educational and Practice is committed to supporting open-access publishing and fostering academic collaboration. To ensure accessibility for all authors and readers, we do not charge any fees for the following:
- Submission Fee: No fee is required for submitting manuscripts to the journal.
- Processing Fee: No fee is charged for the peer review and editorial process.
- Publication Fee: Accepted manuscripts are published free of charge.
- Open Access: All published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription or payment.

7. Ethical Considerations
Authors must adhere to the following ethical guidelines:
- Ensure originality and proper citation of sources.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Provide necessary permissions for previously published material.
